Asociația Culturală REF from Brașov has supported since its establishment the cultural and artistic acts of the new brand, Rockstadt Extreme Fest, the most important festival in Brașov County dedicated to music and rock and metal artists. Over the years, it has become one of the most well-known national brands dedicated to concert acts with sustained investments in marketing, logistics, image, and promotion to support local art, artists, and culture, but not limited to it. Thus, all the editions of the festival organized by the Asociația Culturală REF successfully contributed to the development of the local and national underground scene, but also obtained the recognition of Romanian and foreign tourists, eager to spend free time and know everything that Brasov tourist area has to offer.
Already in its 7th edition in 2019, the festival has managed an appreciable journey, developing from year to year and managing to gather thousands of rock music lovers at the base of Râșnov Fortress every year, of which about 3% from abroad. Moreover, in addition to the continuous support of local and national artists who have taken to the festival stages, every year and more and more, from one year to the next, world-class foreign artists of the musical genre promoted by this event have accepted the invitation to be part of this festival.
If at the first edition the number of artists was over 20, in 2022 there are 55 Romanian and foreign bands in the festival program. The attention always paid to the logistical quality and the artistic acts made the experiences of the participants, be they public or artists, unforgettable, and all the positive reactions resulted in a better and better image. All this has had a cultural, tourist, image, and economic impact beneficial to the local community, and in the future, sustained development of the project is aimed at making Rockstadt Extreme Fest a truly European phenomenon, with international recognition.
